Apply and Enroll
Starting February 2, 2024, CCCApply will be integrating identity verification through ID.me. ID.me will help protect student identities and prevent fraudulent students from taking spots in classes at Moorpark College.
Certain populations of students won't be able to use or be required to use ID.me:
- No valid identity documentation from country of origin
- No permanent address (housing insecure/homeless/unhoused)
- No internet access or a smartphone (incarcerated/justice-involved)
- Minors (under the age of 18)
- Foster youth or juvenile justice students who are wards of the court
Acceptable Documents for Identity Verification:
For us to verify your identity, you must provide two documents:
- One Photo Identification - For example: State identification (ID) card, Driver license, Permanent Resident Card, Passport, or Employment Authorization Document
- One Identity Document - Employment record (e.g. paystub), address verification (Any bill or financial statement showing your name and residence address), or Official birth certificate (with official translation, if any)
ID.me is the fastest and quickest option to verify your identity, allowing you to enroll and register for classes sooner, so we highly encourage all students to use this expedited process. While ID.Me verification is expected, students may opt-out which may result in the application being suspected of fraud and could delay your enrollment.
If you’re currently enrolled, these changes will not impact you at this time. They will come into effect if you have a lapse of enrollment over one year and need to reapply.
For assistance with ID.me, please contact the helpdesk at CCCHelp.info.

Approval from the Adult School is required for each registration period but in return the $46 enrollment fee is waived.
As soon as you apply you will receive an email with the subject line "Adult School Special Admissions" with guidance and a link to the approval form. You will need the email address of the appropriate official at your Adult School to have the request approved. A separate email with a student ID number and a live link to the My.VCCCD student portal will give you everything you need to submit the approval form and get registered for the classes you are requesting.
